"Talk To LA City" on Google Home

Continuing its effort to expand City’s services and information to new channels, and add to the City’s Chatbot Team, the Information Technology Agency has announced the City of Los Angeles’ official application on the Google Home and devices powered by the Google Assistant. Users with a Google Home device or app can simply say the phrase “Talk to LA City” to begin and will have access to news from Channel 35, events around the City, and even an earthquake report!

Instructions

To enable the skill on your Google compatible device, just say "OK Google, talk to L.A. City"
