The “Spread the Warmth" Blanket and Socks Drive, organized by the Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) Department, is in full swing until Dec. 29, 2023. Donations of blankets, sleeping bags, quilts and socks are greatly encouraged as nights get longer and colder in LA. The items collected will be distributed to the unhoused community through the Cleaning and Rapid Engagement (CARE) program, which is overseen by LASAN’s Livability and Services Division.
Donations may be dropped off Monday - Friday, 9AM - 4PM at the following locations*:
