During the school year, our classrooms and campuses offer our students places to learn, stay active, and grow. During the event of a strike, families will have to make tough decisions about what’s best for their kids — from where children can receive lunch, and appropriate supervision, to how they can get around.
Mayor Garcetti is committed to ensuring that parents have options for their kids until all of our students return to the classroom. The Mayor has been working closely with City departments and Metro to make additional resources available to families that may need assistance in the days ahead.
