Following the closure of the 10 Freeway near Downtown Los Angeles due to the fire on November 11, 2023 local businesses in the surrounding areas reported suffering economic hardships from loss of business due to the decreased traffic.
To ensure impacted businesses receive immediate and direct assistance, the City of Los Angeles, in partnership with other government agencies and community-based organizations, will host a Local Business Assistance Resource Center (LBARC) to offer affected businesses resources such as free consultations, low-interest loans, and other support services.
