LA Animal Services are in urgent need for volunteers to adopt or foster animals and help create life-saving space during the high winds and fire.

LA's Animal Services Department is working with LA County Animal Control to assist in evacuating Malibu and sent horse trailers, Volunteer Emergency Equine Response Trailer Teams and LAPD mounted trailer teams to the staging area to be deployed. They are also taking in evacuated LA county animals at the East Valley, West Valley and West Los Angeles shelters.
