The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is hosting a Countywide Mock-Election on September 28-29, 2019 to introduce L.A. County residents to its new Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) system. This new voting experience will be used at the upcoming Primary Election in March 2020. The Mock-Election will allow the public use of the new election devices in simulated vote centers.
The Mock-Election will be held at 50 locations throughout Los Angeles County; 17 of which are located within the City. The locations will open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both dates. City of Los Angeles residents regardless of age and status are invited to participate. Select locations will include celebrities, food trucks and other fun activities. No real contests from past or future elections will be on the ballot, only selections on favorite sport teams, parks or music venues.
