Mayor Eric Garcetti has announced VolunteerLA, a new volunteer portal at https://volunteer.lamayor.org/ which aims to connect Angelenos to meaningful service opportunities that create positive change in their communities and build a stronger city.

“When Angelenos see a challenge, they want to meet it — by giving their time, talent, and energy to good causes that have real meaning in people’s lives. VolunteerLA will help accelerate some of the most important work being done in the City right now — from ending homelessness to beautifying public spaces.” Garcetti said.

VolunteerLA is a pilot program of the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Legislative and External Affairs and with support from Goldhirsh Foundation, AT&T, Union Bank, and Bank of America. The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles jumpstarts innovative solutions and new ideas that drive civic impact.
