OurCycleLA Distributes Free Computers & Internet to Low-income Families

by City of Los Angeles on August 11, 2017

OurCycle L.A. is led by L.A. City Council President, Herb J. Wesson Jr. and the City of L.A.'s Information Technology Agency. Together, they have helped more than 3,000 families enter the digital age.

OurCylce L.A. is a program that takes used City of L.A. computers, repairs them, and gives them to families in need. The program also provides these families with free or reduced cost Wi-Fi. By doing so, the program reduces the electronic waste produced by the city, and simulataneously helps it's residents.
