The City of Los Angeles Welcomes Alexa

The City of L.A. has integrated the City's Calendar with Alexa, a digital assistant developed by and made popular by the Amazon Echo device. The "Ask Alexa" integration is the beginning of a new channel for residents to receive information from the City of Los Angeles. 

Currently, Angelenos with an Amazon Echo, Amazon Dot, or any other Alexa enabled device can use Alexa to "Ask L.A. City" about information for City Council, Council Commitee, and featured events occurring within the City. Many more features and information will be coming in the near future.


To enable the skill on your Alexa enabled device, just say "Alexa, enable L.A. City skill."
