The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) Croatian Cultural Center was acquired by the City in 1996. The former bank building was renovated for use as a community art center. DCA manages the facility through a partnership with a local community Friends Group. The Friends are responsible for programming the center and presenting film screenings, music and dance artists, and visual art and photography exhibitions reflective of the rich diversity of southern and eastern Europe and other cultures. The facility is available for rent for music and dance performances, photo and visual art exhibits, community outreach events, and dance, music, visual art and language classes.
