Description
The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) provides music education classes for young people from 3 to 18 years of age for free or low cost throughout the City of Los Angeles. The Department enters into contracts with non-profit arts organizations and teaching artists as music education service providers to offer Music LA classes to the public. Music education providers are selected though a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process. Musical instruments, marketing, and professional development support are provided by DCA.
