LADOT is in the process of installing bike racks on all of its Commuter Express and Community Connection buses in order to encourage transit and bicycle use without the need for an automobile.
LAPD Officers and other City safety/security personnel use bicycles for patrol operations instead of motor vehicles, reducing air pollution and improving community relations.
