Mr. Recycle and Robo Blue, the city’s blue bin recycling robots, were built and brought to life by trash truck drivers and their mechanics to help lead in the campaign against the waste of “renewables” that are thrown out into the black hole of regular trash everyday - the sinister black bin.
Mr. Recycle and Robo Blue want everyone to know that people literally throw money away when tossing “renewables:” plastic containers and bags; foam plates and cups; glass jars and drinking bottles; newspapers, catalogs and magazines name just a few, into the black bin!
The recycling dynamic duo may look happy go lucky, but when it comes to recycling, they approach the 3-R’s: Reducing, Reusing and Recycling, with a no holds barred approach and an all out “Zero Waste” attitude in having children save the world.
Mr. Recycle and Robo Blue have gone as far as to tell every child they meet, to tell their parents and guardians a thing about reducing, reusing and recycling! They believe that children know more about recycling than their parents and guardians, and you know, they were right!
