Awards
The Bureau has received numerous local, State and National awards for our programs. The Bureau of Sanitation has received 46 City Quality and Productivity awards since 1996, which is the highest number of awards received by any single Bureau or Department in the City. Productivity Improvement Awards, 1990 through 1995
- City of Los Angeles Productivity Commission, to Hyperion for projects or programs which resulted in a cumulative $120 million in savings and one-third overall budget reductions since 1989.
