Featured Youth Education Programs
- HIRE LA’s Youth is focused on connecting L.A.’s youth to employment opportunities. This is provided by a partnership between the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce (LAACC), Mayor Villaraigosa, the City of Los Angeles, and the Workforce Investment Board. The LAACC engages and encourages private sector employers to extend entry-level job opportunities to underserved urban youth.
- Learn more about the Jeopardy Program, LAPD Cadets, Deputy Auxiliary Police (DAP), Police Activity League (PAL), Police Academy Magnet School Program, and Safe House Community Program all offered by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)
- Become a Fire Cadet with the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD)
- Join the Volunteer Attorney Program or Law Clerk/Intern Program with one of the top five largest municipal law offices in the nation - the LA City Attorney's Office.
