Description
The Elder Abuse Community Education program has been designed to increase public education and awareness on the identification of abuse, those persons/populations at high-risk, how to report abuse, and available community resources to prevent abuse and assist caregivers. If the person lives in their home/apartment in the community you can make an anonymous report to Adult Protection Services and if the person lives in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting, you can make a report to Long-Term Care Ombudsman; Wise and Healthy Aging.
