Description
The AIDS Coordinator's Office advises the Mayor and City Council on HIV/AIDS legislation, policy, prevention and care, and Hepatitis issues; builds cooperative relationships with public and private entities to expand/improve HIV/AIDS support services; advances structural interventions that enhance the quality and depth of HIV services delivery in the City; develops unique HIV/AIDS research projects; and offers minor technical assistance grants for those HIV/AIDS services agencies seeking to build internal capacity.
