Description
The Bureau of Sanitation Industrial Waste Management Division has adopted a simplified procedure for preparing a Toxic Organics Management Plan (TOMP) that makes use of facility and Bureau information that satisfies the EPA TOMP requirements. The streamlined TOMP consists of two single-page forms: (1) the Request for TOMP Approval and (2) the TOMP Checklist. The TOMP Checklist covers all of the USEPA requirements in a simplified, yet comprehensive and easy to complete format. The Request for TOMP Approval allows the industrial user to certify that the TOMP is being implemented and the discharge is in compliance with the Total Toxic Organics (TTO) pretreatment standard.
