Plan check and approval are required as part of the Industrial Wastewater Permit application for new facilities and pretreatment systems and when existing ones are modified or the facility use is changing. Plan check and approval ensures that an industrial or commercial facility such as a food service establishment, car wash, electroplater, or laundry meets permit and Industrial Waste Control Ordinance requirements (i.e. L.A.M.C. Sec 64.30.) Please contact the Industrial Waste Management Division at (323) 342-6200 for a plan check appointment.
