All applications must be completed and submitted within 60 days of the incident. The processing of this application is contingent upon confirmation of conviction or final adjudication. After the LAPD receives confirmation it may take 8-10 weeks to receive a monetary award. THE CITY COUNCIL HAS SOLE DISCRETION TO APPROVE THE PAYMENT OF A REWARD TO AN APPLICANT. Click on underlined word "application" to download the application form. Application forms are also available at your local community police station.
