Description
The use of the sanitary sewer for disposal of industrial wastewater is a privilege and is permissible as provided in an Industrial Wastewater Permit (Permit). Facilities requiring a Permit include, but are not limited to: car washes, restaurants, bakeries, plating shops, hospitals, dental clinics, construction dewatering, petroleum refineries and radiator shops. For a hard copy of the form, please call the Industrial Waste Management Division (IWMD) at (323) 342-6200. The Permit application fee is $385.
