Description
The Dry Cleaners Certification and Permitting Program is to ensure that no Perchloroethylene (PERC) is discharged to the sewer, storm drain, or ground. The Program exists to ensure that all wastewater containing PERC or other solvent-contaminated liquids is properly disposed of by evaporation or removed from the facility by a certified waste hauler (with records retained for verification). Dry Cleaners that have at least one washing machine will be required to obtain an Industrial Waste Permit.
