Temporary Tow Away signs are posted at the request of moving companies, movie production companies, construction companies, City service departments and during special events for the purpose of traffic and parking control. To request the posting of Temporary Tow Away signs, you will need to contact Special Traffic Control at (213)485-2299,Monday thru Friday,from 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The office is closed on weekends and holidays. Request for and payment of fees for the posting of Temporary Tow Away Signs should be made at least 4 days in advance of when the signs are needed. The signs are posted 2 days prior to the day needed.
