Description
Due to the recent detection of the West Nile Virus in the City of Los Angeles, the Bureau of Street Services is responding to all reports of standing water, ponding water, or stagnant water. Standing water will be removed to prevent further growth of the mosquito population. This service is only for incidents reported on City owned property, streets, and alleys.
For private property, reports of virus-infected dead birds, or questions regarding the West Nile Virus, please contact the Los Angeles County Health Department at (800) 975-4448.
