Residents who occasionally generate extra trash or yard trimmings can purchase extra capacity tags for $2.00 each. They are sold in multiples of five "only" and limited to 25 tags per household, per calendar year. Tags are non-refundable. These tags should be attached to a trash bag, a bundle of brush (4ft in length), or a 30-gallon non-City issued container (this container will be collected along with refuse). Tags can be purchased by mail (check or money order only payable to City Of Los Angeles) or by visiting one of the six district offices (see addresses below). The mailing address for ordering tags is 11050 Pendleton Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352 (Attn: ECC tags). District Offices are open from Monday through Friday, between 10:00a.m.-2:00 p.m. for tag purchases. For more information, call 1-800-773-2489, Monday through Friday, 7:30a.m.- 4:45p.m.
