Description
The LAPD is committed to a number of programs that encourage young people to avoid drugs and gangs, stay in school, and contribute positively to society. For more information on how you can participate in, or volunteer for, any of the programs listed below, please contact your local community police station.
Programs include DARE, Jeopardy, Law Enforcement Explorer Program, Police Activity League (PAL), Deputy Auxiliary Police (DAP), Police Academy Magnet School Program, Operations Central Bureau Community Police Academy, Safe House Community Program, and Kid Watch.
Community police stations: Central, Devonshire, Foothill, Harbor, Hollywood, Mission,Newton, North Hollywood, Rampart, 77th Street, Southeast, Southwest, Van Nuys, West Los Angeles, West Valley and Wilshire.
