Description
The Section 8 housing program provides housing assistance to very-low imcome families, senior citizens, and disabled persons. The Section 8 program also has special programs designed to assist specific population groups (e.g., the homeless). The applicants for these special programs are referred to the Housing Authority by contracted non-profit organizations, and are not applicants for the regular Section 8 program.
