Traffic Counts are available for various locations in the City of Los Angeles. Automatic Counts are provided in 24-hour increments. Manual Counts are provided for intersections and includes all movements for cars, trucks, buses and pedestrians. Requests for copies of these designs and records may be obtained by contacting the Traffic Records Unit. The Traffic Records Unit can mail or fax the request form to the requestor. Voicemail services are available only. Traffic Records Unit Staff will return phone calls within one hour during business hours. Required fees for all copies must be submitted before copies of records can be provided. Average Daily Traffic Volume Counts(ADTs) can also be provided over the phone. The Traffic Survey section can read two ADTs per customer per day free of charge. There is a fee of $6.00 per intersection to cover the cost of copying.
