Description
LAHSA coordinates the Los Angeles Winter Shelter Program. The Winter Shelter Program provides homeless individuals and families with temporary emergency shelter, meals, bathing facilities, transportation and entry into the Continuum of Care system of services. The program is designed to bring approximately 2,000 additional emergency shelter beds into service during Los Angeles' most severe cold and wet weather (December to March). THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE ANNUALLY FROM MAY 16th TO NOVEMBER 30th.
