A permit is required to keep, conduct or operate within the City of Los Angeles any dog or cat kennel, pet shop/show, out of city supplier, zoo, animal rental establishment, riding academy, livery stable, grooming parlor, boarding stable, pony ring/ride, horse market, circus, rodeo, animal acts or exhibitions, wild animals, ostrich farm, reptile establishment, or carrier/homing pigeons.
