Description
The Department On Disability coordinates and monitors the City's compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973(Section 504). The ADA Compliance Officer and ADA Coordinators work closely with all City departments to facilitate the process, which includes: providing reasonable accommodation for City employees with disabilities; providing reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities who utilize City programs, services, and facilities; and advocating for persons with disabilities facing discriminatory treatment.
