NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of the Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners of the City of Los Angeles, for and on behalf of said Board will receive in Room 762, 1200 West 7th Street, Los Angeles, California 90017, up to the hour of three o'clock p.m. on the following Tuesday, sealed bids for the following project:

Reference is hereby made to the said plans and specifications for particulars and description of the said work. Instructions to Bidders, Proposal, Affidavit, Form of Bid Bond, Affirmative Action Forms, Plans and Specifications and other documents may be examined at the Bureau of Engineering, 1149 South Broadway, Suite B-30, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Plans and specifications will be furnished to intending bidders.
Each bid must be accompanied by a check certified by a responsible bank in the City of Los Angeles, made payable to said City, for an amount not less than ten percent of the aggregate sum of the bid or by satisfactory corporate surety bond for said amount, payable as hereinbefore referenced, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded to that bidder.
The successful bidder will be required to post a faithful performance bond as a guarantee that the work will be completed. This faithful performance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract.
The bid package includes forms, procedures, and Board Resolution relevant to the Board's Minority/Women Business Enterprise and Other Business Outreach Program. Expected levels of participation for these projects are 15% MBE and 2% WBE.
The provisions of Ordinance 143,429, 147,030 and 175,115 and the rules, regulations and forms pertaining to non-discrimination in employment in the performance of the contract, will be part of any contract awarded pursuant to this notice.
The Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in such bids.
