French Avenue Station Dedication
	On Monday, April 7, Councilmember Ed Reyes welcomed community residents to the French Avenue Station dedication ceremony. The ceremony marked the first station dedication ceremony for the Metro Gold Line Transit Project in the City of Los Angeles.

	Cesar Chavez March
	Councilmember Ed P. Reyes joined Justice For Janitors Union Members and other elected officials to commemorate the Cesar Chavez Holiday.

	Environmental Fair and Clean-Up Day
	On Saturday, March 29th, more than 800 people registered and particpated in Councilmember Reyes' Environmental Fair and Clean-up Day. It was one of the largest mass clean-up in recent history.

	Northeast Little League Opens
	Councilmember Ed Reyes was a guest speaker at the March 22nd Northeast Little League Grand Opening.

	Hope And Peace Park Clean-up
	On Saturday, March 22, Councilmember Ed Reyes joined Clean and Green Youth to clean-up Hope and Peace Park.

	Public Works Comes to First District
	On March 19th, the Public Works Commission held its meeting in the First Council District.

	Norwood Elementary Visits City Hall
	Councilmember Ed Reyes recently welcomed Norwood Elementary School to City Hall.

	Chinatown Library Grand Opening
	On February 8th, the Chinatown Library Opened its doors.

	Cypress Park Library Opening
	On January 28, 2003 the Cypress Park Community Opened its doors to a new library.
