| Cuts to Children's Aid |
| City Councilmember Jose Huizar, along with state and local elected officials, parents and community groups held a press conference to voice opposition to the Governor's proposed cuts to welfare benefits.
The cuts would eliminate a critical safety net for tens of thousands of children whose parents are immigrants or do not meet federal work requirements.
