The Preliminary Background Application is designed to help candidates identify any issues in their background which may delay or prevent them from continuing in the law enforcement employment selection process. If upon completing this questionnaire it is determined that your background has issues which may cause a delay or prevent you from competing in the selection process, you will be given more information on how to proceed.

The Job Preview Questionnaire is designed to help candidates better understand the nature of the work they will be performing as a law enforcement officer. Please read all of the questions carefully. If upon completing this questionnaire it is determined that you have issues pertaining to aspects of the job, you may want to give some thought to those aspect of the job that you may not have previously considered.
