FORWARD COMMITMENT PROGRAM

The Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) has released its Forward Commitment Program Application. LAHD's Forward Commitment Program is a Program that has been approved by the Mayor and City Council and is designated to help increase the supply of housing in the City of Los Angeles for moderate income homebuyers. A Forward Commitment is the contractual promise by LAHD to provide purchase assistance funds to the eventual homebuyers of the homes at the development. The Program requires that homebuilders set aside a minimum of fifteen (15) homeownership units for moderate income households.
A complete original application (Microsoft Word) including three copies must be submitted to:
