If
you have an idea or something to say about Emergency Management
in Los Angeles, you are encouraged to use this quarterly
forum to tell others about your emergency management programs,
ideas, accomplishments, etc. Does your organization have
a program that is meeting and exceeding its goals? Did
you buy new equipment that is not living up to your expectations?
Is your staff prepared to face the next disaster? Tell
us about it! Here are the guidelines:
- Submit
typewritten, emergency management related articles, announcements,
training programs or events of (250 words or less) to
Carmen Steward, Synergy Editor; Emergency Management
Department, 200 N. Spring Street, Room 1533, Los Angeles,
CA 90012 or e-mail to olin@mailbox.lacity.org.
- Include
pictures, as appropriate, with description. Mailed photos
will be returned, only upon request.
- Submit
articles by February 1st for the February issue, May
1st for the May issue, August 1st for the August issue,
and November 1st for the November issue.
- All
submissions become the property of the City of Los Angeles
Emergency Operations Organization. We reserve the right
to edit all materials for content and length.
- Reproduction
of Synergy articles with acknowledgment, is permitted
and encouraged.
