Issue of Synergy
The
Emergency Management Department produces a quarterly
newsletter entitled, SYNERGY.
Synergy
is the interaction of two or more agents or forces
so that their combined effect is greater than the
sum of their individual effects. Additionally, it
is defined as the cooperative interaction among groups,
especially that which creates an enhanced combined
effect.
The
newsletter is published in February, May, August and November
and it features emergency management articles. Regular features
include:
- Stanley
says, insights from General Manager Ellis M. Stanley,
Sr., CEM;
- Monthly
Awareness, a condensed version of disaster awareness bulletins
concerning various Emergency Management subjects for
City employees.
- EOO
Hall of Fame, kudos to a deserving member of the Emergency
Operations Organization Family.
