The Los Angeles Community Preparedness Corps is an AmeriCorps
Program. AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs
engaging more than 50,000 Americans in intensive service
to meet critical needs, through AmeriCorps’ three
major goals of Getting Things Done, Developing Participants
and Strengthening Communities.
The Los Angeles Community Preparedness Corps has a cadre
of bright and energetic individuals ages 18 and up who
are devoting their full time to enhancing emergency preparedness
awareness of stakeholders throughout the City of Los
Angeles.
