LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY PREPAREDNESS CORPS

The Los Angeles Community Preparedness Corps is an AmeriCorps Program. AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs engaging more than 50,000 Americans in intensive service to meet critical needs, through AmeriCorps’ three major goals of Getting Things Done, Developing Participants and Strengthening Communities.

The Los Angeles Community Preparedness Corps has a cadre of bright and energetic individuals ages 18 and up who are devoting their full time to enhancing emergency preparedness awareness of stakeholders throughout the City of Los Angeles.

To find out more about the Los Angeles Community Preparedness Corps, or if you or someone you know are interested in scheduling a presentation at you job, school, religious institution or organization, please contact us at (213) 978-2222.

You may be interested in getting involved yourself… Since AmeriCorps is a nationwide service organization in which members all over the country are Getting Things Done through service to their communities, there are approximately 600 state and national programs that address various community needs, and we encourage you to seek additional ways in which you can become involved in national service.  If you are interested in obtaining information about other AmeriCorps programs, you may visit www.americorps.org.
