Governance in cooperation with the Board of Education of the Los Angeles
Unified School District. We decided it was time to bring stakeholders
to the table, engage the public and seriously explore how best to improve

Statement
The Joint
Commission on the Los Angeles Unified School District governance is a
body organized for a one year term to explore issues on school district
governance to improve academic achievement, better engage parents, more
efficiently use resources and make the district more accountable.
