Meet Our Staff
Noel Hyun
Associate Planner
Raised in Los Angeles, Noel is now helping to shape the neighborhoods
she has known all her life. As Council President Garcetti’s
Associate Planner, Noel is responsible for monitoring and facilitating
construction projects in Council District 13. She works with neighborhood
leaders, developers, and community residents to ensure projects
meet city codes and that they become assets to our neighborhoods.
As a project manager for the Elizabeth Peterson Group and a consultant
to Gilmore Associates, Noel has helped companies navigate the city’s
complex entitlement process to bring to Los Angeles projects such
as the Biscuit Company Lofts that converted a former Nabisco factory
into residential and commercial space, and the Roosevelt Lofts
that brought more than 200 residential units to Downtown Los Angeles
as part of a mixed-use project.
Noel supports Los Angeles City College as a volunteer member of
the college foundation’s annual dinner committee.
Noel is a graduate of the University of Southern California and
lives in the Century City neighborhood of Los Angeles where she
enjoys playing with her French bulldog, Charlemagne.
