Meet Our Staff

Mitch O'Farrell
District Director of Constituent Services

Mitch oversees the Constituent Services team and the Field Deputies serving the District. He reports to Council President Garcetti on Public Works, Field Communications, and Los Angeles River related issues.

He comes to us from the community of Glassell Park where he helped found the Neighborhood Council and served as President of the Glassell Park Improvement Association. He joined Eric Garcetti's staff in 2002 as a Field Deputy after working several years as a manager and trainer in the restaurant business. In 2004 he was named Deputy District Director. He also has a background in the performing arts.

Mitch was once a competitive gymnast and has lived in Los Angeles for 24 years. He was born and raised in Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
