Arsen Melikyan
Field Deputy/Special Events Coordinator

Arsen Melikyan serves as the Field Deputy for the Atwater Village neighborhood and is the Special Events Coordinator for the 13th Council District. He has worked in Council President Garcetti’s office for more than six years, beginning as an intern, then receptionist, and most recently the Caseworker for the Hollywood, East Hollywood, and Silver Lake communities.

Arsen has deep roots in the 13th Council District. He was raised in Little Armenia, graduated from Hollywood High School and the Academy Pacific Travel and Business College, and is continuing his education at Los Angeles City College.

Prior to working in Council President Garcetti’s Office, Arsen served as a hotel and transportation manager in Pasadena.

Arsen is actor Al Pacino’s biggest fan. More importantly (we think), he is married to Ripsime Ter-Galstyan, and is the proud father of Sonny Melikyan.
