Jenn is responsible for advising Bill on all legislative matters relating to homelessness, affordable housing, and non-profit issues and for drafting the Council District's strategic plan to address homelessness. She also tracks developing legislation through the Housing, Community, and Economic Development Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee on Homelessness.
Jenn brings a strong background in human services to the CD11 team. She has assisted homeless clients on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles, counseled sexual assault and abuse survivors as a program coordinator for UC Irvine's sexual assault programs, and served as the assistant director of the LGBT Resource Center at UC Irvine. Jenn has also worked with teens and their families as a counselor and program facilitator at a national non-profit in Southern California, and she spent a brief period of her career working with teens in the Bronx in New York City.
Jenn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology and Women's Studies from UC Irvine and a Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA's School of Public Affairs.
