Capacity Builds L.A. 2008

Are you interested in starting a Community Based Organization or
would you like to enhance an existing one?

The City of L.A. Community Development Department (CDD) is hosting its Capacity Builds L.A. series for 2008. Community, faith-based/non-profit organizations, and interested individuals are invited and encouraged to participate in a FREE training series designed for non-profitstart ups or enhancethe effectiveness of an existing one. The program primarily targets those who are working with low-income youth, families, and communities. Read more information about the program in CDD's New Release.

New this year, the training includes special topics designed to augment your ability to work withspecial populations. Each session builds on the previous session, so make sure to RSVP to all in orderto get the most out of the series. Space is limited and reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You can RSVP for as many sessions as you like, however, we recommend that you attend all sessions to get the full benefit of the program. Please note that unfortunately the first session scheduled for Thursday, February 21st, has been canceled but will be rescheduled.
