A
wide variety of community based, supportive services is available
to Los Angeles city residents through networks of agencies managed
by the City:
Family
Development Networks (FDN)
If
you are a family or an individual needing longer-term help with
one or more issues that may be affecting your ability to obtain
or keep a job or how your family gets along together, then contact
one of the city's FDNs.
Neighborhood
Action Program (NAP)
If
you are searching for positive activities for youth, help in dealing
with your teenager or services for persons with special needs,
try looking at the NAP services.
Youth
& Family Centers (YFC)
To
get assistance in your immediate neighborhood, from ESL classes
to a location for help if a disaster strikes, visit one of the
city's YFCs.
