BECOME A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY ACTION BOARD!!!
The CAB consists of representatives from the Poverty Sector, the Public Sector, and the Private Sector. Poverty Sector representatives are elected from each of the City's Community Improvement Planning Areas (CIPAs).
ELECTIONS WILL OCCUR FOR THE FOLLOWING POVERTY SECTOR POSITIONS ON THE CAB:
| CIPA 3 Central Los Angeles | Representative | ||
| CIPA 4 South Valley | Alternate Representative | ||
| CIPA 5 West Los Angeles | Alternate Representative | ||
| CIPA 7 North Valley | Representative and Alternate Representative |
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age or older
- Resident of specific CIPA to be represented
- 2 years experience working on poverty related issues and/or activities
- Cannot receive salary from Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Funds
