The submission deadline has been extended by two days.
In the 2006-2007 program year, the Community Development Department initiated the Capacity Builds L.A. program in which a series of 10 general capacity-building workshops were presented for over 40 agencies. To implement the second phase of capacity building efforts for 2008 CDD is seeking to expand the pool of providers of capacity building services to offer three levels of training. Capacity building training will range from entry-level workshops to advanced workshops for prior CBLA graduates and/or executive-level organization personnel.
This RFQ is also soliciting consultants to provide comprehensive services in resource development/grant writing. Selected consultants will provide workshops as part of the second phase of Capacity Builds L.A. and also, work with CDD’s Grants Unit to develop and implement a strategic plan for CDD’s resource development goals. The strategic plan may include, but not be limited to, staff training and the research and development of grant applications.
