HISTORICAL CONSULTANT HUD 106 Reviews for Program Years 2009-2012
Submission
Deadline: Monday, June 9, 2008 - 12:00 p.m.
Federal and State regulations require that environmental reviews be completed for all federally funded projects. The Community Development Department and the Los Angeles Housing Department are seeking an Historical Consultant to complete historical documents as required by the National Environmental Policy Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, and HUD.
The scope of work for this contract encompasses two areas, preparation of historical documents and provision of technical assistance. The consultant will be required to determine what impact federally funded projects will have on historically significant structures and properties; identifying those properties which may be considered eligible for the National Register of Historic Places; and provide approximately eight hours of technical training to staff on historical issues and regulatory requirements. The consultant will also assist in the monitoring process of all historic projects for CDD/LAHD.
