Mobile washer operators, such as on-site carpet cleaners and on-site carwashers/detailers, are required to properly handle and dispose of their wash water. The wash water originating from mobile washer activity is classified as industrial wastewater. The mobile washer operators are required to obtain an Industrial Wastewater Permit prior to discharging the wash water into the sewer.
